Lead With Stones
Lead With Stones is an early-stage NZ leadership development platform built by organisational psychologist Emily Rust and her co-founder Nick Rust. Their premise is that quality leadership development shouldn’t require a corporate training budget or a consultant who flies in for the day. Through monthly webinars, on-demand learning modules from local experts, and a Slack community, Lead With Stones is building a practical, accessible alternative to the workshop-and-keynote model — one designed for the mid-sized organisation or the solo professional who wants to keep developing without the overhead.
The Challenge
For a platform that lives and dies on its content output, post-production was a bottleneck. Emily was producing webinars and podcast recordings consistently, but turning raw recordings into polished, published content — and then repurposing that content for social and marketing — was eating into the time she needed to spend on product, growth, and the community itself. The backlog was growing. Output quality was inconsistent. And the founder was doing work that didn’t need a founder doing it.

- Podcast and audio post-production on a regular monthly cadence: editing, cleaning, and publishing 1–2 episodes per month
- Webinar content editing and repurposing — turning longer-form recordings into usable marketing and community assets
- Content repurposing for social: extracting 1–3 pieces of shareable content per month from existing webinar and podcast material
- Backlog clearing: working through a queue of unedited recordings to get the content library current
- Content planning and podcast timetable management to keep production on schedule
